Scope and ContentStating that he had ordered a book on a sociological study of Westham; hoping she was happy in her educational work; asking her opinion of feeding indigent school children; expressing disillusionment with what he describes as 'municipal socialism', but doubting whether voluntary work would be sufficient; wishing he could drop private practice and confine himself to hospital patients; stating that he was getting more able to sympathise with the needs of poor old sick folk; and stating that he thought the RCP would now be able to admit women for the LRCP and MRCS and that the Surgeons were more liberal than the Physicians.
