Two brass oil lamps, from Pall Mall East, inscribed with the RCP coat of arms and ‘O BIOC BPAXYC H E TEXNH MAKPH’ (‘Life is short, art is long’). The lamps are in sections, there being two bodies, two bases that acted as the oil reservoir, two duplex burners made by James Hinks & Son, and one glass shade, the other being missing or potentially broken and discarded in the past.
