17th century antimony cup with leather case. This or X409 was presented to the RCP by Mr Gundry, the husband of a descendant of Baldwin Hamey Junior. The cup was owned by Hamey and was reputedly bought in London, in Gunpower Alley at the sign of the Magpie in 1637 for 50 shillings.
